Overview

From your accommodation we will head for Blouberg Beach to experience incredible views of Table Mountain across Table Bay. From Blouberg we head north east to the jewel that is the West Coast National Park and Langebaan. The azure blue lagoon, which attracts migrating water birds like white pelicans and flamingoes , white dunes, rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean, and the rare fynbos, and green wetlands of the National Park , make for a feast of extraordinary visual delight., and a paradise for hikers, cyclists, birders and nature lovers alike. We have the opportunity to sample a range of delicious local traditional dishes enriched by Portuguese, Dutch, Norwegian, Italian and Malay influences. Other worthwhile stops on this day out are Paternoster, one of the oldest fishing villages on the West Coast of South Africa and Darling, part of the Cape Floral Region and home to hundreds of species of flowering plants.
